A design crafted to meet a need- 
1. A setting that takes a back seat to some quirky diamonds 
2. Rough and tumble never take off pieces for clumsy messy working hands 
3. Not too high profile 
4. Not too low profile.

Thus this final iteration for both diamonds from the pc, and a simple setting design we are pleased to share, for your own special  stones. 

Bezel set, elegant setting- slightly tapered hug around a stone, open undergallery and simple, chunky round edged band. Platinum or 22k. You supply the stone or I can forage on your behalf. 

Diamond story: platinum setting holds a .92ct OMC that belonged to my old man's  great aunt. This is its third setting: the first was our original engagement ring 27 (!) years ago, an art deco setting with lots of filigree. After the third repair, I designed a different setting with a rose gold shank and smaller side diamonds pulled from some earrings (a story for another day). 

 Very lemony OMC, 1.78ct and set in a classic prong solitaire setting "because I never had a classic ring like that" for our 25th wedding anniversary- a beautiful piece  followed by the inevitable realization I cannot have jewelry like this and worried the diamond would just pop out one day. So... this design for both: 22k for the lemony one and platinum for the OG. A toi et moi of sorts and bookends for 25 years of being married to this special guy (though it's now been 27 🙀).
