Antique English sterling silver Belcher watch chain with an intricately engraved silver Vesta case with a T-Bar and a swivel dog-clip clasp. The Vesta is decorated on both sides with scrollwork and engraving. Vesta cases traditionally served to carry matches.

The watch chain measures about 17" long (between dog clip and loop connecting the T-Bar), has a 1" drop between watch chain and both Vesta and T-Bar, with the Vesta measuring 1 5/8" by 1" wide and 3/8" thick. Collectively, all components weigh 42.5 grams.  Probably the most interesting watchchain I've had!
