Custom made, OOAK  snail pendant. sterling silver, 24 x 18mm excluding the large, sturdy bail. The pendant was hand carved out of wax and signed, cast in silver and then hand engraved with this sweet representaiton of a snail. "Resilience" is engraved on the back as snails are incredibly adaptable, as well as quite vulnerable, as anyone who has moved a snail from a busy path can say.

Side note: to move a snail, gently tap on the shell to encourage it to retract, then slide your finger, or a leaf or somehting thin and smooth under its "foot" to break the suction. Next, carry it gently to a safe place in the direction it was headed.
